By joining to the ISDG mailing list you can get the newsletter and send your own messages (as described below) to the mailing list members.

Joining the list

You have two steps to execute:

Step 1.
Send the following message to majordomo@list.hut.fi:
subscribe isdg your email address
Notice that the message should be written in the message text part not in the title/subject field. The email address should be the same as the one that appears in the headers of your mail message. Aliases are not allowed.

Step 2.
You will receive two messages "Majordomo results" and "Confirmation for subscribe isdg". You can neglect the first one, the latter gives you instructions on how to confirm the subscribing, just follow the instructions. You will be informed when you have been added to the list.

Unsubscribing

If you want to unsubscribe from the ISDG mailing list, send the following message to majordomo@list.hut.fi:
unsubscribe isdg your email address
Notice that the message should be written in the message text part not in the title/subject field. Remember to use the same email address as the one you have been subscribed in.

Changing your email address in the list

If you want to change your email address in the list send the following two lines to majordomo@list.hut.fi:
unsubscribe isdg your old email address
subscribe isdg your new email address

Sending messages to mailing list members

If you want to send a message to all the ISDG mailing list members, send your message to isdg@list.hut.fi and the message will be delivered automatically. Note that you can send a message only if your email address is in the list. You can order the current list of email addresses by sending the line who isdg to majordomo@list.hut.fi.
